Your Grand Pappy's Tax Code

Vintage and tradition are wonderful anchors in life. When you went fishing as a child out on a boat with your grandfather, and he hooked a worm for bait while spitting a wad of Copenhagen into the water, there is something warm and safe and gratifyingly secure about him never changing. You could always count on your pappy being the same forever. He would never change, and you never wanted him to change.

Anchors in life and relationships are the core of what makes us happy. But some anchors in life can turn out to be bad. If we still used an abacus to calculate numbers that would be bad. If we still used a black and white TV that had one of those dial tuners to change channels that would be bad. And so it is with our current tax code.

Continuing to use the current method of taxation is a tradition that has served its purpose run its course and is now a bad thing. Your grand pappy was ok with that form of taxation it anchored his life. It was how America paid the bills, and folks like your grand pappy were happy to surrender their blood, sweat and tears to keep America running. Yet America’s tax code has become abusive, and in this technologically advanced culture we live in, which itself will be vintage in 50 years, we the American people need a fair tax code that equally and efficiently pays for government.

The American tax code is more than 150 thousand pages long with intricacies that even an advanced civilization from another planet may not be able to interpret even if they had telepathic powers. The chief financial officer of the United States Government Timothy Geitner was even confounded by the tax code when he failed to file taxes on income. It almost derailed his nomination to the position.

In America today we all want simple living similar to that which our grand pappy’s enjoyed, out on a fishing boat hooking a worm, catching a fish. The development and use of technology has helped to bring us closer to that while increasing our knowledge far beyond that of our ancestors.

Yet we remain burdened by an inefficient, costly, ineffective, heavy handed tax code that must go the way of the black and white TV. It is from an era far older than the black and white TV. It is nothing like the depth and warm, safe, gratifying security of your grand pappy. It is time to cut this anchor and give the American tax code an honorable burial and renew our faith in our government by instituting a new and Fair Tax that taxes consumption.

It is time to pass HR 25 and turn America into the efficient economic super engine that can truly change the world. America lead the world is slipping, and now we need to lead again by adopting a new tax code that changes the world.

21st Century Crisis

The crisis of the 21st century is not overpopulation or food shortages, it is not a housing crisis or a banking credit crisis. The crisis of the 21st century is inextricably linked and a seeming disparate set of topics. It is energy and Islam.

The two are so patently interconnected, and it is inexcusable that American leaders continue to give them refuge. With the technology available to our modern society there is no reason whatsoever to rely upon the fossil fuel powered vehicle, and therefore there is no reason to send our billions of dollars to the Middle East, Russia or other enemies.

Yet we have various promises from various politicians to change it all. All of whom we continue to look to as if saviors. Obama has promised a change in our energy economy, but without the use of Nuclear Energy and with the destruction of coal fire power plants as he has promised, how can we change our energy needs.

Bush signed an energy bill that was supposed to pour billions of dollars into hydrogen powered fuel cell vehicle Research and Development.

Obama is controlled by environmentalists who rabidly reject more nuclear powered energy which would sufficiently support the use of electric powered vehicles which with consumer confidence and the capital that comes with that confidence would easily improve in technology.

We will never see an electric car with the current regimes or Obama and Bush. Bush of course was beholding to the big oil companies probably not because he was going to receive a payoff, but because the power an oil company has to tarnish his reputation and destabilize the American economy is enormous.

With the spikes in gas prices in 2008 to four dollars a gallon they proved to Bush that they could make or break him not only in the public's opinion, but also in his ability to use his political power, and power is what a politician seeks, not money. Political power is the capital that power brokers crave. Money means nothing to them, and that is why big money payoffs are most likely not an incentive for most high powered politicians to make decisions with.

So we as the American people have two evils to contend with and there is simply nobody willing to step out from their safe place to lead this nation into a 21st century of true energy.

Then we add Islam to the mix where oil is mined from their earth, and their ideas are fueled with the riches they monopolize. We will face increasing threats from Islam and in particular Islamic extremism as long as their ideas are funded and fueled by their oil wealth. Protected by the greed of Big Global Oil Companies.

Perhaps two of the most closed, restrictive, oppressive and repressive dictatorships in the world are Saudi Arabia and Iran, two sides of the same coin both of whom are super powered by their oil wealth with relatively low populations.

Both nations set the tone of Islamic extremism in the world, and both have that power because they own the oil. With that oil they can pay for their extremism.

As long as we refuse to change our minds about energy from both extreme sides from Obama to Bush we will never see a change or at least not in most of our lifetimes. We will continue to see ravaging death, destruction and disease from the effects of oil burning fuels which will continue to be powered by extremist regimes and rabid fundamentalist environmentalists.

The Real War

I’m watching the news daily seeing ambulances and sirens and cars burning and smoke everywhere and people running and crying and shaking their heads. It’s a daily scene on the news there in Baghdad and Palestine and Darfur. People needlessly killed in the name of a religion. When I think of religion I used to think of crazy monks secluded in candlelit rooms writing deep thoughts about their lives of seclusion, but my image of religion has changed recently, and my image is that religion is about death and mayhem and suffering and crying.

But why? Why are they crying? Their brothers and sons and fathers and children and mothers and daughters are being killed, but they don't have to be. You see there’s this big debate among all the religious people about my religion is better than yours, and so on, and I just have to wonder is there something to that whole mine is better than yours idea, or is it merely a matter of what are the end results of yours and mine.

I see Muslims killing and being killed, and I know it doesn't have to be that way. I know it doesn't have to be a world of grief. The world and in particular the Muslim world could really be a world of love if they just knew Jesus. But they don't because of this idea that we are right and you are wrong. And really someone has to be right don't they? Someone has to be wrong.

It’s been said over and over that Islam is a religion of peace and it is actually supposed to be. They have these two concepts called Dar el Salam and Dar el Harab. the first one being the house of peace and the second one being the house of war. For all Muslims they are supposed to be in the house of peace but for the rest of the world that is not Muslim it is a house of war.

But when I look at the middle east I see everyone in the house of war. But that’s not where Jesus is at. He's not in either one of those houses, and I wonder if He stood among the Muslims of the world right now would they kill Him if He offered His hands to them, His hands in love and peace and grace and mercy. I would hope that they would fall down and confess Him as Lord so that their world can stop spinning out of control.

I am sure there are lots of peaceful Muslims in the world, and they want nothing more than to raise their kids and see them get old and raise their kids and so on. I don't want to be harsh with them they are taught just like we are about religion, and that Islam is the only way, but at some point in time I would think that they would recognize that there is something wrong with the way they are doing things.

Look at the awful pain and anguish in the Muslim world and not just in Iraq. From Casablanca to Baghdad throughout Egypt, Arabia and Indonesia they grieve for their sons daughters mothers cousins and fathers. The killing is almost at fever pitch through Arabia and Islam, and the religion of peace has come to be nothing but the religion of hopelessness.

In Palestine they teach their children from learning age to kill the infidel/kafir and especially the Jew. In Iran they train Hezbollah for one war. Yet they continue to kill and plunder each other they are jobless and are men reduced to nothing more than beggars. Warriors roaming the streets in need of a fight they beg for a fight and find it with one another hoping to one day destroy America and Israel, and then once they have destroyed all the enemies of Islam they can square off again Sunni and Shiite and Wahabbi.

Their aimless hopeless misdirection is rooted in one idea. Islam. Their tears and their blood mix on the Arab street after wantonly killing one another only to lay the blame at the feet of America as if America planted the bombs that kill their children, or Israel, as if Israel pulled the trigger that shot their loved one.

No it is the Muslim that pulls the trigger and plants the bomb and kills and maims one another because they live under a rule of sword. They have become titans without trembling they kill and care less and less.

Islam has become the scourge of the planet and it is time to set those people free from their evil.

They can only be freed by Jesus. Jesus Christ. Yahusha Ha Maschiac. Looking at the teaching of the two founding fathers of their respective faiths there is no comparison. Jesus preached that if you live by the sword you shall die by the sword. He never taught men to be a bunch of wussie boys, but He did teach men to love. Mohammed preached that the sword was the way to advance your cause and subjugate the infidel.

But what is the Evangelical Church in America doing? As a whole nothing really. Shortly after the 911 attacks Bill Hybels had a Muslim clergyman come to the pulpit of Willow Creek and through a question and answer style service he convinced the Creekers that Islam is the religion of peace.

15,000 Christians in one of the most influential churches in the nation and one of the most influential churches this side of Ephesus was pacified.

Rick Warren went to Syria recently and spoke to their political leaders telling them how tolerant they were of “religious diversity.” Warren is the leader of one of the other most influential churches in America Saddleback Church in California.

Our evangelical leaders have dropped the ball and relegated the battle for millions of souls to the back alleys of churches where apologists have been imprisoned. Now that the Bush policies have failed miserably to change the face of the middle east evangelicals in America are left without a plan because we put all of our stock in the Bush plan. Evangelicals were fooled again by a politician looking for easy gain. Bush has admitted that the bible is just a bunch of stories. He has admitted his faith is faithless. Now Evangelicals will learn another lesson with Obama.

The Bush plan worked at first. It wiped out the Muslim Army of Saddam gaining easy victory but the battle of ideas was not won that cannot be won through the gun. For thousands of years leaders have learned the valuable lesson you cannot take people's ideas.

The communists of Russia learned that and so are the Chinese now learning that with the fastest growing church in the history of humanity. Rick Warren's Emergent Movement. And here we sit American evangelicals without a plan, and the world spiraling out of control. Just a bunch of do gooding carcasses taking up space. The ultimate geek squad. Can there be any greater indictment of the American church than this one.

The evangelical church in Germany did the exact same thing during the rise of Hitler's Nazi’s with the exception of men of God like Dietrich Bonheoffer who defied them. His effort though valiant was to little. We need many men of God to step up to the plate in America and begin to make a change that will change the face of the Middle East through the battle of ideas which is where the gun ends.

We must now rapidly formulate a plan as a movement to save the souls of millions of men women and children though the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is eternal. This is eternity. We have got to get perspective. The resources are available. Small organizations exist with this goal, but their efforts are minimal and as a movement, evangelical America is not behind them.

One-billion lives depend on this. Is it our responsibility? Yes absolutely yes. We are responsible to bring this gospel message to every man women and child through whatever means necessary. If the voice of 10 million Christians in America rose as one as we did with the abortion debate we would surely make an impact on those Muslims dying and going to hell while suffering their personal hells here on earth.

Though legally the abortion battle is lost here in the USA morally it is completely won, and before a woman gets an abortion, she has to ponder the morality of her soul. The same should happen with Islam.

There are objections. Many will say that those nations are closed to evangelism. This is why evangelicals must organize and come up with ideas and form a united front on this issue to begin breaking despite the oppression of Islam. We must come up with a single minded focus to approach the problem of Islam. Whatever it is we cannot sit back and do nothing.

Evangelicals love their feel good conferences, the ones where yes we learn and we grow and we dig deeper, but it is all for us and not for them. We can form a conference of leaders that learn how to grow their churches through techniques and ideas for church growth but we cannot have a conference on how to break through the oppression of Islam?

We have prosperity messages galore, but not one message from a pulpit in America on how to win the hearts and minds of Muslims. Every pulpit in America should be speaking about this before every service energizing men and women of God and mobilizing them for not only prayer but also evangelism through whatever means necessary. And for those Christians that don’t want to hear this message then forget them.

We are so locked in a box that there is one way to do things. Friendship evangelism. Fire and Brimstone evangelism. We get boxed up and we become immobile. Whatever the case is we are not touching the lives of a billion people right now in this time in this generation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

They will not seek it out. They won't go to the net to find out the truth. They think they have the truth despite the murder and mayhem. Why would they go out and look for truth when they think they have it?

We will stand before God and give account as to why we as the church let them perish without lifting a finger.

When Bush sent in the army the thinking was that ok they can fight the war and win and we never thought for a moment of the end game. Our soldiers as valiant as they fought could not win the minds of those in Iraq, and now the Muslim world is on the verge of some cataclysmic explosion. This is a battle of ideas that must now be fought by those who have a superior idea a superior message which is the message of Jesus Christ.

We must speak the truth lovingly politely and forcefully. The kingdom of God suffers violence, and violent men lay hold of it. This is our moment. We must change their hearts. The is the moment in our generation that we must rise to the greatest challenge we have ever each personally faced. Lets change the world.

Observations

So this week is the Haj. This is the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca where all the faithful throw stones at a black stone which predates Islam. The Black Stone represents Satan, and throwing stones represents their hatred for Satan and therefore their love for their Allah. Kind of a love by fiat of hate. Well...Why don't they just replace the Black Stone with an American Flag? They think we are the Great Satan.

So Barack is a citizen...oh ok.

Its time for Conservative to move en masses to the West Coast. Around 60 million held their nose and voted for McCain. They are the hard core Conservatives. If even half of them picked up and moved to the west coast, we could change the entire political landscape of the West Coast and ultimately determine our own destiny as a people. Can you say low taxes, no abortion, capitalism with morality, prayer in schools, public schools that are on par with private schools? It would be a revolution. We don't need a revolutions with bullets, we just need a revolution with our presence.

Socialism is AntiSemetic

Communism, socialism, anti-industrialism, and anti-corporatism are merely extensions of anti-semitism, because an undercurrent of Jew hate existing in many societies and especially in Europe. They have felt Jews control the wealth, with the inevitable outcome being, by design, that many people swing axes at that which they hate, and because it exists in the narrative, the undercurrent, the unspoken, many don't know why they hate Jews and that which they think is controlled by the Jews.

They think wealth is controlled by greedy Jew Bankers, and therefore they must destroy wealth, or in the case of socialism redistribute wealth, and therefore destroy Jewish power and that what is thought to be the Jewish ethos of wealth production and wealth accumulation. After all is is the "Christian" thing to do. And the Christian angle is used by these people to the max, and eventually it was discarded by the same people and humanism replaced it. The narrative is that we must help others. Take the wealth from the greedy Jews and give it to the gentiles.

The attitude of Jew Hate remained rampant in Europe not only after the Protocols of the Elders of Zion were written but also carrying through the turn of the 20th century. It embedded itself deep into the sociology and psychology of Europe and people like Marx, Engles, Trotsky, Hitler. They played on the fears of white Europeans and their misfortunes. They murdered millions in the name of socialism and communism.

It is now programmed into the incoming Obama administration, and although they most likely have no clue as to why they are carrying out their socialist/communist policies, you can hear it in the ideas of self loathing Jews like Robert Rubin and Rham Emmanual and in the outright hateful putrid words of people like Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakan. However it is interesting to know that it is not really the Jews in control it is just the thought that they once were, and though they now are not, the clock that was wound up 100 years ago is still ticking. And there is no way to stop it from ticking except to let it completely unwind.

Goodbye McCain

Congratulations to all you folks who love this Obama guy. He is a likable and pleasant man for sure. Now lets see if he can do what he said he will do.

Decrease taxes, decrease and eventually eliminate dependence on foreign oil, decrease gas prices, turn America's economy into a green powered economy, create millions of jobs, provide affordable health care for all Americans, get the troops out of Iraq, educate America's children, and turn world opinion to the positive when thinking of America.

For all those disappointed and sad McCain lost...

This is no time to write off America as much as I want to do it with this unfortunate election. We are American's still. We have a fight ahead. We have a future to protect, preserve and defend against the enemies of our Constitutional Republic. And so it begins. Stand up. Shake it off. Ride the 8. Our counter strategy now begins, because we are Americans. In 10 years, 20 years we will look back and say we were Revolutionaries.

The narrative we will see in the media will change now from the wild eyed promises Obama made to one of "we will have to do this over time," time that never seems to arrive.

Obama himself changed the narrative in his speech last night stating:

"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even in one term. But, America, I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there."

"I promise you, we as a people will get there."

"There will be setbacks and false starts. There are many who won't agree with every decision or policy I make as president. And we know the government can't solve every problem."

His first four years were supposed to bring massive change. Supposed change for the better. Energy independence. Jobs. Health care. Tax Cuts.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/06/obama_promises_change_but_what.html

Now the reality is that his words were just words, just speeches, just rhetoric and slogans meant to create false hope for elective purposes. The narrative has begun, the change has already not started.

Obama made specific promises. Promises about energy, taxes, jobs. Perhaps the only promises he will keep will be to bankrupt the coal industry, redistribute America's wealth, and divide Jerusalem.

From day one John McCain was the wrong man for the Republican candidate. How this guy got to this place is beyond me. I only felt that voting for him was the lessor of two evils. One good thing I can say about Obama's win is that McCain will never be seen on the national stage again.

He should never have been there in the first place. I think it is time to rebuild the conservative movement, and I think Obama will be a good launching point for that. McCain would have completed the destruction of the conservative movement which G.W. Bush. Goodbye John McCain and good luck.

They've got what they wanted and now this is the classic example of be careful what you wish for or vote for in this case. Their guy in the White House (Or as many popular black cultural icons have stated "the Black House," their words not mine) Obama will be an abject failure and will ultimately be the best thing that has happened to conservatism in the last 30 years.

We now must mobilize politically and in particular in regards to the Media. The media is officially full of liars and potentially full of paid off corrupted liars. We must find an effective way to inform the American electorate. Doing that will be the power for true change.

Our mission should now be to revitalize conservatism and repackage it as true progressivism. It will be a gradual strategy one that should work itself into the American electorate's mind. We can use their own extremism against them. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barack Obama will be our best allies. They may screw things up but we will hold them responsible.

Moderates and independents don't matter to a conservative renewal. America is conservative. If you are gay I am not slamming that, but look at what happened in California. Though they voted for Obama, they rejected gay marriage. Thats a conservative position.

I don't want gays to feel oppressed in the least bit, but gay marriage isn't something the American people want. So the truth is that we don't need moderates and independents.

We need leaders who truly seek conservative ideas and values. Does that mean oppressing gays? No. It means letting gays live their lives productively as they wish. It means reducing abortion to include ending third trimester abortion and protecting aborted infants born alive. I can live with abortion as a personal choice in the rest of the cases. At that point it is a choice between a woman and God, and God wins that choice at the end of the day.

It means reducing the size of government. It means reducing taxes to include the confiscatory payroll tax for all Americans. It means cutting government programs. It means energy independence through drilling, new nuclear power plants, and alternative fuels.

It means ending the union grip and stranglehold on education in America where on average 10 g are spent per student per year only to have more failure. New approaches to education, energy, taxes, social issues must be brought about. Obama will not bring new ideas.

He just hired Rham Immanual as his COS. He will not bring new ideas. He will try to throw more money at old entrenched problems and nothing will change. It will merely get worse. So Moderates and independents are useless to conservatism.

Explaining Obama to a kid

Explaining politics to kids:
By Aeonatom aka DJH

My son asked me why Barack Obama would be a bad choice for president. He has recently been inundated with polls and votes at school and has told me that he has even had discussions with other 11-year-olds about how they voted. He told me that Barack Obama would be the next president because all the kids in his class voted for him. I asked him who he voted for and he told me of course for McCain. Yet his question was an honest one since everyone around him is telling him that Barack Obama will be the best choice. I fumbled around wondering what to say. I googled it and found relatively nothing useful. I then came up with something he could understand and I could explain with simplicity.

"Son," I said, here is why we don't want Barack Obama to be the president.

Pretend you work really hard over one weekend mowing 10 lawns or shoveling snow off 10 or 20 sidewalks and you make about 50 bucks. On Monday when you go to school you go to get in line at the cafeteria and hand the cashier your money and it is a $10 bill.

Behind you is Robert the bully. Well Robert sees you have $10 and is a little bit envious that you had $10, but Robert spent his previous weekend playing video games, running around the neighborhood, watching TV and eating Cheetoh's. So being envious he goes to the principal at school and tells the principal he only had $2 for lunch and Aiden had $10. Well the principal being liberal devises a plan in order to take some of your money and get it into the hands of Robert.

So she announces over the speaker that anyone having more than $5 must report to the office to pay a fine. The fine is $1 dollar if you have $5, $2 if you have $6, $3 if you have $7 and $4 if you have $8-$10. If you have more than $10 dollars you get fined $6. The students arrive at the office and are told of their fines and ask why they are being fined. They are told that they have to help pay for the lunches of those students who have less. The kids pay their fines and the principal announces to the school for those with $2 or less to come to the office to come and collect their lunch money.

The students who paid their fines watch those who paid nothing and worked for nothing collect their lunch money. The next day none of the kids show up with anything more than 2 dollars and that weekend the kids who paid fines decide it is their right to play video games, watch TV, run around the neighborhood and et cheetoh's.

That following Monday all the kids refuse to bring any money to school because those who were fined didn't work for their money since their incentive to work was taken away because their money just went to pay for other people and the ones who previously came to school with $1 or $2 dollars brought no money because they were thinking that the principal would fine the other students for lunch money and the less they have the more they would get from other students fines. So thats how I explained to my son why voting for Barack Obama would be bad.
